being in a strong focus so that you experience something around you less consciously. We’ve all experienced it. While reading a book, we are no longer aware of the environment. When we are called, we do not respond and when you look outside, you suddenly see that it is dark. For instance if you drive a car and are somewhere else with your thoughts, so you no longer have any awareness of the road. In these examples, there is no sense of time anymore and we therefore call this a spontaneous trance.
During regression, the therapist will direct your attention to all the sensations that occur when you are triggered with your problem. This causes trance, with the correct instructions to bring the information from your subconscious mind about the cause of and the occurrence of behavior and beliefs to your consciousness.
